Older homes typically have suspended ground floors. These suspended floors are those floors in which the floorboards will rest over the joists. These types of floors loose a significant amount of heat as they are suspended over spaces of cold air.
If there are ventilation bricks or air bricks on the outer walls, this is another sign that you may have a suspended floor that is possibly suitable floor for a UFI.
Through ECO3 government funding we have the ability to arrange for a professional installer to visit the home and see if it is a suitable fit.

In many cases, homes that have been built after 1980 are typically not elibible for underfloor insulation due to having concrete flooring
You will more than likely qualify for a UFI if you have a cellar or basement or a property that has been built on a slope. You will need to have at least 1m of headroom under the floor as well as hatch access
Two thirds of the house footprint will need to be available for UFI installation.
If you have had ground floor insulation in the past, you still may be eligible for it to be redone to the latest in standards. One of our professional installers can do this for you.
